I preempt such things with GM notes to warn them of what I just did. Thrice, and I will kick you myself and take the heat for it. Not merely because it is (often) a huge block of ugly lettering designed to get around filter, but because it is actually spam. Because it is 1) excessive, and 2) repeated.

These are the pictures to what my Hunt Macro Relays look like, now please do note that I have each of the Relays separated according to ranks and specialty. Seeing the same message from goldsellers or variants thereof from different sources? That's spam. Let's start off with some Hunt Macros that I use: -Made by me :D. (doesn't work in /say chat) so be sure that you have right chat selected before you execute macro. But these text macros works only in party chat/aliance chat etc. After that, Right-click on that macro and click Execute. Saying merely that it is obtrusive (it is) qualifies it as "spam," is the stretch you shouldn't be believing is being made but there you are making it. There you just create new macro (paste it there). The letter of the rule refers to excessiveness and repetition, neither of which applies to these types of things. I tried to copy and paste from a site on my bf's PS4, but pasting with Ctr + V didn't work. It seems you'd have to copy and paste it like I do on the PC. "Multiple lines" can even apply to various types of greetings, sign-offs, all without being an ASCII image. Thanks I searched for options but haven't found any yet. Pixel art uses purely squares to evoke imagery. "No useful information" is subjective it can be interpreted to mean anything. AscII art is unique in that it uses a rigid character set to evoke imagery. I'm addressing /u/Praesul 's comment logically.
